The Project
The homeowner wanted additional off-road parking, easier everyday access and a frontage that complemented the property. The design needed to maximise usable space while retaining a comfortable route to the front door, managing levels carefully and creating a neat transition to the pavement.
The Challenge
The existing frontage combined a lawn with a narrow paved approach, restricting vehicle space and making the entrance feel fragmented. Older surfaces and uneven transitions also prevented the front of the property from working as one coordinated, low-maintenance area.
Our Solution
We planned a full-width block paved driveway using contemporary grey paving and a darker charcoal perimeter course. The scheme incorporated the front-door approach and rebuilt entrance steps, with appropriate excavation, sub-base preparation, edge restraints, levels and drainage considerations.

Materials used
Grey block paving was selected for its durable finish, attractive colour variation and ability to complement the property's brick exterior. A darker perimeter course defines the driveway edges and gives the installation a crisp, professional finish.
Design Details
The block layout was planned to maximise the parking area while maintaining comfortable access to the house. Coordinated paving around the doorway and neatly rebuilt entrance steps create a strong connection between the driveway and front entrance.
