Plaspave Sorrento Sarsen Stone Paving in Howarth

Featured Project
A Howarth paving project using Plaspave Sorrento Sarsen Stone, with old stone reused to construct walls and steps.
The Project
This Howarth project paired new Plaspave Sorrento Sarsen Stone paving with existing stone retained from the site.
Rather than discarding the old material, it was reused to build walls and steps within the finished scheme.
The approach combines a new, consistent paved surface with reused stonework that retains some of the original material character.
The Challenge
The Howarth project specified Plaspave Sorrento in Sarsen Stone while also retaining value from the existing site materials. Old stone was to be reused for the new walls and steps rather than introducing unrelated masonry.
Our Solution
We installed the Sorrento Sarsen Stone paving and reused the old stone to build the new walls and steps.
This allowed the project to introduce a fresh paved surface while incorporating existing material into the structural landscaping elements.
Before & After
The scheme was renewed with Sorrento Sarsen Stone paving, while existing old stone was repurposed into new walls and steps.

The Result
The finished scheme combines the consistent Sarsen Stone paving with walls and steps built from reused old stone.
Reusing the existing stone preserves some of the established material character while allowing the new Plaspave surface to provide a clean, practical paved finish.
The new paving looks great alongside the walls and steps made from the old stone.
