Raised Grey Patio in Horsforth
Featured Project
A raised grey patio installation in Horsforth, creating a practical outdoor area for relaxing, dining and entertaining.
The Project
Premier Driveways created a spacious raised patio beside this Horsforth home, using large-format grey paving to complement the red-brick exterior and dark-framed doors. The installation includes carefully finished levels, brick retaining edges and broad steps that connect the patio safely with the garden.
The Challenge
The customer wanted a more useful outdoor area beside the house, with enough space for seating, dining and entertaining while managing the change in level between the property and lawn.
Our Solution
We designed and installed a raised patio with a prepared supporting base, brick retaining structure, large grey paving and coordinated entrance steps. The layout provides a generous level surface while integrating cleanly with the house and garden.
Work Completed
Raised patio, brick retaining edges, broad garden steps and coordinated grey paving beside the rear of the property.
Materials used
Large-format grey paving, brick retaining walls, step risers and coordinated grey coping and tread slabs, installed on a prepared sub-base.
Design Details
The patio runs along the rear elevation to connect both sets of doors. Its raised construction creates a level entertaining area, while the brick edging matches the house and the wide steps form a comfortable route to the lawn.

The Result
The completed patio gives the customer a spacious, attractive area for relaxing and entertaining. Its clean grey finish suits the property, and the raised layout makes full use of the space directly outside the house.
A valued repeat customer in Horsforth trusted Premier Driveways for a third project, choosing us again to create this raised patio and entertaining area.
