The Project
This Burley in Wharfedale project brought together three confirmed finishes within one garden scheme.
Raj Blend Indian stone forms the main patio, Plaspave Positano Charcoal creates the border, and Plaspave Positano Granite is used around the outdoor-kitchen area.
The combination gives each part of the garden a clear role while keeping the hard landscaping visually coordinated.
The Challenge
This Burley in Wharfedale garden scheme needed the patio and outdoor-kitchen area to read as one coordinated design while using three confirmed finishes: Raj Blend Indian stone, a Positano Charcoal border and a Positano Granite surround to the outdoor kitchen.
Our Solution
We used Raj Blend Indian stone for the principal patio surface and introduced Plaspave Positano Charcoal as a contrasting border.
Around the outdoor kitchen, Plaspave Positano Granite creates a distinct surround that ties the feature into the wider paving scheme.

The garden was reorganised around a new Raj Blend patio and defined outdoor-kitchen area, with contrasting Positano materials used to structure the finished layout.

Design Details
The scheme uses Raj Blend as the main natural-stone surface, a darker Charcoal border for definition and Granite block paving to distinguish the outdoor-kitchen surround.

The completed garden combines the natural variation of Raj Blend Indian stone with the stronger definition of a Positano Charcoal border.
Around the outdoor kitchen, Plaspave Positano Granite provides a distinct surround, helping the cooking area feel integrated with the wider patio rather than treated as a separate element.
The patio and outdoor kitchen area now feel like one coordinated space, and the contrasting border looks great.
